Seven Kurdish writers from Turkey founded the Kurdish Literature Association in Diyarbakir. The forum is located in the Dijle Kendi neighborhood, and was attended by guests from Kurdish institutions, including Bedran Ozturk, co-chair of the PKK-affiliated Democratic Society Congress, and Mr. Ozturk was among the speakers.
Hogir Birbir, one of the founders of the association, also emphasized the need to pay attention to Kurdish language and literature, and hoped that literary practices would increase day after day.
The interesting thing is that both the board and banners of the forum were in Turkish (as shown in the picture) and all the guests and founders lectured in Turkish.
