According to the information received by the IKHRW and verified by our experts, “Rasoul Elemhouli”” with the organizational name of “Begar Kudi” is from Mako.
According to this information, he was born in Mako, his father’s name is “Ahmad” and his mother’s name is “Sultan”.
Rasoul has been reported missing in 2012, at age 15, by his family to provincial authorities. They feared for a connection with Kurdish militant groups, that at the time roamed the Mako rural areas in order to recruit youngster and collect money and supplies from villagers.
The child was deceived in 2012 in unconventional ways by militant groups and recruited by PKK and PJAK militants, and there has been no accurate information about him since then.
The watchdog is trying to get more information from him, which it will publish as soon as it is available for the information of the family and human rights activists.
It is worth mentioning that he was allegedly killed on April 14, 2016 in the Diyarbakir region, but there is no evidence to prove this claim, and there is no news about him or the body of this child.
The family wants to receive closure by finding the burial site of their child.
