In a new statement on the latest developments in Syria and referring to the oil agreement between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and an American company to sell oil from the oil fields of northern and northeastern Syria, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad called the agreement a theft and presented the liberation of all Syrian territory as the only solution. Bashar also called the presence of Turkey and the United States on Syrian soil an occupation and said that most people in the world know the United States established ISIS and is doing everything to protect it.
It is worth mentioning that Russia has also condemned this agreement and has repeatedly stated that its profit will not serve the people of the region, but will go to the pockets of the American company and those who have occupied the region.
Earlier, Jamil Bayek, head of the PKK leadership council, called the agreement a theft and looting of the Syrian people’s property, and condemned Mazlum Abdi’s actiondeal with the US company Delta Crescent Energy.
