On its Twitter account, Kurdistan Watch has published a list of names and photos of journalists arrested in the Kurdistan Region. Citing the journalists and their whereabouts, Kurdistan Watch writes that these people have been arrested in the past few months because of the suppression of expreession freedom and they criticize the policies of the Kurdistan Region, which has led to a deep economic crisis during the Corona.
The association says it documents and reports various violations of freedom by the KRG. Photos and profiles of 12 journalists are included in the report.
